Best thing about music this year: We Are Scientists, Gorillaz, Hard Fi etc. Also getting over the shock of Take That getting back together. Who saw that one coming?! The worst has to be that bloody frog!

*shock* I love green day! Especially Warning and American idiot..

You will like Thin Lizzy and Parisanne walkways. That is a great song.

Do you like Gun n' Roses? Sweet child of mine..

I was lucky enough to be there when Green Day were rocking in the BBC TVC for Top of the Pops, loved it indeed. Gotta love the Arctic Monkeys, innovators in the way they 'marketed' themselves online prior to releasing the debut single, thus creating a wide fanbase before they even got to the shelves.

I cheated, I work there so I stood at the open window for the rehearsels and then went outside and froze my ass off while they did the recording.

Sign Language and Subtitling production Saz. $$$$ all to do with TOTP apart from the fact we do the subtitling from them, but it gets us plenty of freebies.

Cool freebie

I've been to the TOTP studio, it's a lot smaller than you think! So is the Blue Peter garden for that matter!

You based at TVC, White City or Woodlands?

Both TVC and White City's Broadcast Centre.

LOL, I loved going to my first TOTP show, the way everyone is told when, and how long to clap for, and then told to dance, etc. 3 hours worth of filming for a 30 show.

Been to any other shows? Or just TOTP?

I know, and I can't believe they have to re-build the set every week!

They do that on all shows - even the national lottery! There is some warm up guy to get the audience going and make them laugh and then they hold up 'Applause' signs so everyone knows when to clap!

Suprisingly, the turn around time for set changes isn't that long, they roll into place and lock together, kinda like a big Lego set.

Er..best bit either Green Day live at Milton Keynes Bowl....or Antony and the Johnsons winning the mercury prize. They're amazing.
Worst thing, probably crazy frog. or shane winning instead of andy!
