London Music Mapp the travel guide for music lovers has launched a Nordoff Robbins music quiz on their App, to support the specialist music charity in helping to raise awareness of their work in transforming the lives of vulnerable children and adults through music therapy.

The London Music Mapp App which launched earlier this year as a travel guide for all those who know and love music, provides over five hundred searchable music specific locations across London for music lovers to experience, and offers unique locations, videos, photos, facts and maps about London’s rich musical heritage, vibrant musical present and unique musical geography.

The new Nordoff Robbins Music Quiz encourages those who download the app to take part in a quiz and also learn more about the work of Nordoff Robbins, a national specialist music charity dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children and adults across the UK. At the same time, access to information about venues and record shops even music schools and instrument stores are listed on the App, keeping journalists, tourists, music students and Londoners searching out their musical needs, even where legendary artists like Hendrix, The Beatles and the Stones played live, lived and recorded and where todays artists continue to do so.

Nordoff Robbins uses music therapy and other music services to help people with a range of challenges including autism, dementia, mental health problems, stroke, brain injury and depression. The London Music Mapp is a free Mobile Music & Travel App for the iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad it was launched in October of this year.

London is one of the world’s great music cities and it not only has a fascinating musical heritage, but a vibrant musical present and a unique musical geography which touches every part of the city.
