Anyone else check for these compilations?
I have a few and gotta big up Beach House 2 in particular.
Have heard some of the other ones and they're all heavy.
If you have any which ones do you recommend?

back to love ones are quality, i've got all of them.
Basically with hed kandi, might as well buy all of them as they quality especially if you love the funky stuff. they came to my uni, was so quality proper funky house music.
also if ur into it check out naked music label. Some very very nice tracks on there.
Ive got Stereo Sushi, its proper heavy.
I have most of the series of vinyl, and they are all exceedingly good cakes.
Thoroughly recommend buying as many as you can possibly afford.![]()
Do any of you lot go Rouge on a Friday or Saturday??
Get every CD & if your a dj the vinyl copies too. Something you'll still be listening 2 in 10 years time.........
thats the thing have about 3 out of all of them and all wicked but to buy them all I going to get saving. So many!
What I love about them is the way they get the tracks for the comps and that so many of them are everyday people just doing their thing, their music. Rare to find a bad tune on them it seems!
Can't really add much to what has been said but, get as many hed kandi compilations/vinyls as you can. Deeper Vol 1 is really good, Deeper volume 2 may be a bit tooo housey for some people, but I loved it.
Recently got the Disco Heaven comp. HEAVEY tunes on there!
Naked music put out some great compilations too (the nude dimentions series). Gaelle - Rain too good got the 12'' of that the other day!
I'm thinking of checking out the next hed kandi party at Rouge...

Hed Kandi are excellent.
If you like em, check their show every Saturday night / Sunday Morning 1am-5am on Jazz FM.
Serve Chilled 2. serious downtempo goodies, Morcheeba, Nitin Sawhney, Jazz Vandals, Space Brothers (doing downtempo, not their usual crap trance), stuff remixed by Jazznova and a wonderful vocalist named Kate Rogers on a couple of tracks released on Grand Central.....first disc is for the late nite chillers....second disc is all about the summertime grooves.
wonderful comp.
None of those comps can touch whats goin on in Vienna (G-Stone, Uptight, Klein, and Sunshine).

Explain please...?
....... downtempo scene in Vienna, home to Kruder and Dorfemeister (G-Stone is their label) and other acts (and labels), are at the forefront of releasing relaxed grooves without compilations built to bother every 3 wks a la insert chillout comp here________
Kruder & Dorfmeister-The K&D Sessions [G-Stone] is a good start if you wanna check out the talent.
Also worth checking
Planet E-I Leave You With This [Klein Records]
The Funky Lowlives-Inside EP [G-Stone]---first UK act on G-Stone
Richard Dorfmeister Essential Mix
if u like something a bit different i just got this album Le Peuple De L'Herbe - PH Test/Two...seriously worth checking out. A mix of chilled funk and jazz, a bit of D&B (Supadope Recordings).
If you're into Hed Kandi then now's the time to scoot to HMV. I picked up back to love vol.1-3 for 8.99 each. The complete back catalogue is available but in limited supply.
Be quick!!
