Default $$$$ Garage raves all about D'n'B

Bushkins Bash was the first Grage rave I been to in ages and surprise surprise once again it's all un-organised.

Got there about 1 and the queue was long but if u keep it moving that should never be a problem. However this queue never moved and eventually people got annoyed and started pushing so security tried to scare people with the dogs.

However this didnt really work as manz got impatient and rushed the gate. Security then decied to hit people with batons and even dash girls about the place.

Security have to realise if u treat this manz like s.hit there gonna come back with gats and cap u.
I saw one breh come back and let off but didnt hit no-one.

Why is it D'n'B raves are not like this. Why is it I can get to a D'n'B rave at 1 and still get in no-problem.

I went Innovation at Lighthouse (Bush' bash venue) and there was not these problems and that was jammed to the max!!!

See Skiba and he said he had to go Northampton for next rave but he couldnt even get out. How stupid is that!!!

Yeh but jungle raves started out like that in the beginning- the jungle scene has had a good 10 years to get its act together. Garage is still a toddler.

thank you krispi. D&B was in the same position as garage was back in 97. It's musical cycles, been happening for years. I h8 people who go on like they love garage one minute, next minute they are súcking some next scene.

    All about the old skool

Exactly- when a scene starts getting popular all of a sudden u get all these new kids coming along thinking they know everything when they dont know the 1st thing about it. I see kids like them at raves/record shops all the time boasting about their so-called knowledge. It's oh so satisfyting putting them straight Im not saying i know everything, but come on, i honestly cant believe some people actually think Chopper tune is garage!

I laugh so hard when people come onto the scene proclaiming they where there since day one. but reality they only use to hear the bass reverb from their brothers room or bought jungle mania 2 cd when they where 9 or something.

Also I hate the way people can dismiss a scene they use to love, fairplay if what they see is a change they don't like, like i can see heartless' point of view. But bare people just want to look cool and proclaim their status.

I remember when my I gave my friend a slammin vs hardcore heaven tapepack for his bday. Some of my friends where like 'd&b died ages ago'. Now I see them driving around listening to the lastest jungle massive comp or some shíte.

    frack off.

Its the people and the attitude that is the problem in garage.

Nothing will ever change in the garage scene because of this if the beats go darker and darker, and no producers trying to do something different.

Variety is the spice of life.

You don't get enough of it at garage raves.

Also this dress up smart sh*t, what the f*ck?

The main problem is the IMAGE PROBLEM in garage.

    D & B peeps couldn't give a f*ck.

Besides you can dance better in trainers.

but does it really matter? DOn't we take this $$$$ a bit too seriously? You'd think some mans would die for the scene or the music the way they go on.
Surely if u like the music and have a good night out thats all that matters?

    But I have a better time at D & B raves.

Don't have to watch my back, staring at people whatever, worried about getting shot..
    I detest violence.

    You get the idea.

The difference I've found is that you can go to a DnB rave and RAVE, wheras you go to a garage rave and stand around feeling stupid if you're dancing that little bit more than anyone else.

I've always loved garage, and I'll carry on going to garage raves no matter what the state of it coz something still appeals to me. But DnB is something I've always wanted to get into (always spent half the nite in a DnB room at a garage room if there was one) and coz most DnB raves are til 6am, parents kinda stepped in til I was 16.

But still, even tho I'm not a die hard DnBer from day 1, the point is I'll always know more about garage & I'll always prefer garage in some weird way....I just see it as widening my tastes. Just as I'd go to an RnB or hip hop thing to do something different.

I just love to ravvvee maaaaan

but u know all this gettin uptight about who has been in to what for longest. It's music! We do take things a bit too seriously at time cause really does it matter? In my opinion no as long as u like ur music and are enjoyin whatever rave ur at.

    You get my idea?
