    Any one on here regular attendants of any cruises ?

    If so spill the beans


    As i am now mobile, i will be attending as many cruises as i can coming up. Getting the car mod'd quite soon. So any tips on ICE would be much appreciated.

    ICE- you're better off getting the more expensive stuff coz the quality is much better and u'll be able to get better sounds out of it.

    Basics include new head unit, swapping factory door speakers for something that can give a bit more welly, 6x9s on the parcel shelf and a amp & sub in the boot. That's standard set up for the average cruiser.

    Sub size- the smaller subs (8-12inch) tend to give a more punchy bassline whereas the larger ones (15 inch upwards) tend to give a more longer body-rattling sound.

    Head unit- make sure it has enough pre-outs else u cant hook up ur extra speakers.

    Fitting ICE- unless u got a mate who's specialised in it, u're best getting a professional to fit them else u could short circuit everything, electrocute urself, run down the battery or god knows wot else if it aint done properly.

    i aint sure to for 6x9's or a tweeter and mid setup. I've heard both and to be honest i prefer the tweeter mid setup, but 6x9 is cheaper

    wot u recon.

    Depends how much cash u got really- i agree tho, tweeter & mid setup is better. Then u can get a larger sub without it affecting the treble so much.

    to start off i got £500 saved up but im unemployed atm (grrr)

    but trying to sort that out, barely scarping the petrol money lol
