Tottenham star Ledley King has been called into the England squad following the withdrawal of Sol Campbell.
King gets the call into the squad to face Portugal this Wednesday after Arsenal defender Campbell pulled out through injury.

Campbell suffered a recurrence of a groin injury in Sunday's FA Cup win over Chelsea and will now miss the trip to Lisbon.

King, who has been playing in midfield lately for Spurs, made his last appearance for England in last February's defeat to Australia and he has two caps to his name.

In Campbell's absence John Terry is set to partner Gareth Southgate in the centre of defence
