Digital TV Help?!?!

I brought a widescreen tv for my bedroom about a year ago and someone recentally said that its a digital tv and that i can get free channels? Can i and if so how?????
I just brought the tv coz it was nice but it would explain why it was so expensive - as you can tell im not to much of a technical person!

Any info on the matter would be appreciated

If it's a proper Digtal telly, you should be able to get all free to air digital services without any other kit at all. There's probably something about it in the manual, or failing that, try phoning the technical support line for the company who makes the TV. Getting the services will be dependent on having a suitable aerial on your roof, however.

Negative. I'm pretty sure you won't need an external box, cos the TV's have them built in.
