Data Cable HELP!

Hello

Following the advice from many of you I went out and purchased a data cable for my 7210. Now I have it all plugged in... erm.... what am I meant to do!??!

Do I download software from somewhere, or do I just go on sites which enable me to download things, and how do I turn my pictures on my pc onto pics 4 my fone?

Please help me and also suggest some sites

erm is it able i thought its to synconize certain applicains which would of came with the phone :S thats what i understood it as but then hey what do i know

well i assure you will def need software and most probably can get it on the website as for picture transfers i dont know about that

you install it once that is done run the program and it will link to your Mobile for you if its hooked up

i use infra-red for my 7650.

i turn my fones infra-red port on and the pc picks it up.
i download games from sites like www.pocketdownload.com and with the 'send file to another computer 'option i can send midi files (ringtones), pictures and the game files.

u might of got some CD software with your fone ,u can use that insted of downloading it. u might of got a cd with some drivers for the data cable aswell, install that.

Ice. dont use Nokia Data Suite its a peice of $$$$e.

Get Nokia Logo Manager. i will PM you a link soon. That enables you to send ringtones, pictures etc all through the computer/ fone.

You can make your own easily.

thanks, I got your PM - but before that I had already downloaded PC suite!!

So shall I download yours too?!

Im already having probs... Ive connected up my fone to my comp... and nokia connection manager says there is no fone connected...

so i still ahvent got n e where!!

bottom right of your screen have u got an icon like the one i circled?

if u have , click it and tick the data cable box .

Ive just found out my cable isnt official which is why it doesnt work with nokia suite.

i have to download from www.oxygensoftware.com once ive done that I will let you know if im still having probs!
