no thunder or lightening here, but the snow has arrived... a 'ickle bit of snow and the whole of London comes to a stand still! Took me 1 and a half hours to get home from work. Tube stations closing all over the place and buses at a stand still - nightmare! I'm well in the mood for a snow fight now! Grrrr

I nearly buckled 3 times today on my way to work! It's all turned to ice!!! More snow would have been cool, no work even better, but not such luck (unfortunately!)

Oh my goodness... check out the email I just received at work:

    Dear All

At present sections of the pavement are exploding in Oxford Street where water has got in to the mains electricity supply.

Our power doesn't seem to be affected by this phenomenon but it we may be switched off in order for repairs to be carried out.

Please make sure you save all your work and be prepared to evacuate the building at short notice

    Thanks.

haha just come back from Tottenham and was walking down my road and i could see 2 young boys throwing snowballs at people passing by. So anyway as i was walking closer to them i started building snow balls and putting them in my pockets and in my hood. As i walked past the boys, they started throwing them at me. couldn't of been no older then 12. and i unleased on them haha. was a laugh had a lil battle for a few minutes. Cheered me up haha.

i blattently didnt go work today because it took me three hours to get home last night!!!

its only ten miles... london is $$$$???

to make things worse, i was at victory station and was waiting an hour to get the train... it was already 12 at night (was working late then went for a drink or three)...

when a train finally arrived it stopped at every station and took ages... so long infact that i feel asleep in the seat.

i woke up just intime to see the doors close on bromley south, my stop... i was so pissed off...

i got off the train at st mary cray, which is probably nowhere, at about 1.45am... the cleaner bloke was the only person there so i asked him if there was gonna be a train going back to bromley south... he said that there 'may' be a train, if its not cancelled... he said that it would be here in ten minuites...

he than added that i should have got off when i had the chance... smart cnut!!!

i then realised that this was quite a bad situation... if a train doesnt show up then i would be standed on probably the coldest night of the last decade... some one stole my coat from a pub last xmas so i only had a tracksuit top on and a wollyhat... i was $$$$ed.

the cleaner bloke then saw my pitiful shaking self and opened the waiting room... he then turned on the heater... i took this as a sign of him doubting whether a train would show. the heater was obviously struggling to combat the frost... it only had a range of about six foot... i had to stand directly underneath it... if there had of been another person there then we would have had to have taken it in turns to use the heater... but who was i kinding, nobody would have left getting home this late... running the risk if falling asleep... on the last train... on the coldest night for a decade.

i phoned nation rail to get the time of the next train... i guy on the phone told me it would be at round the 4 in the mornin mark... i'd of pissed myself if my urine had'nt frozen in my bladder.

i then though about settling down for the night, and tried not to think of everyone at home with a cuppa soup... then a train finnally approached and i felt like i had been given the chance to live... and not die... at st mary cray train station.

one thing that was strange about that night was a guy who also fell asleep on the train. as i got off at bromley south and went to the doors at the front, he was there aswell and asked if i had fell asleep aswell...

yep, thats right... i joked... thought i was gonnas die.

he was quite a big bloke and looked a bit freakish, he had massive facial features, which made him look retarded.

we waited for someone to open the doors as they were locked... and as we both walked through the automatic sliding doors the giant spastic asked me...

"so... what you doing now?... which way are you going?"

i only had thoughts of horror as i realised that the train that came to save me from st mary cray was only an interlude and that i was to die tonight at the hands of the BFG... big freakish gimp.

i spoke as i walked away and told him quite obviously that i was going home! I dont know if he wanted me to walk him home... i dont know what he was going to say next, but im not hungry for sweets and i know what puppies look like.

as soon as i was out of site i jogged home... and decided not to go to work due to stress.
