Most English fans think there better than Sweden as they look at Swedens players and think "Who are they".
But the facts are Sweden consistantly get better results than England.
How do you work out that Portugal who lost 3-1 to the USA and Holland who didn't qualify are both better than England?
i dont fink u can talk bout top 8 yet u lot are jumpin 2 soon its only da 2nd game...just like england won 2day dey can lose 2 nigeria in few dayz time and than wot will u say...

Just because Portugal lost to USA that don't mean England are better. France are better than Sengal but lost to them
yeah they where the better side but they was not brilliant. they are never brilliant actually!! if the manager would of changed things earlier I think argentina would not of lost that game. holland maybe not there but they are better than england, there is no way england are better than holland or portugal.
they probably rnt top 8

england restricted them to one chance in 90 mins . they musta done sutin right

People look into the ranking things way too much .

they played heavy - nothing fancy but they stopped the other team from scoring and scored one themselves
against the favourites to win the world cup
the formation that argentina played has seen them go undefeated in 2 years ...this is thier normal formation and many people say thats y they have been so successful
plus argentina were better suited to the conditions

yeah England grinded out the result, they didn't put on a brilliant football display.
Sweden are about on a level with the english side when it comes to their star players, however the rest of the squad isn't as good as the England squad players.
Larsson is EASILY as good as Owen
Ljundberg is a class player. Anderssen is a quality experienced player. Hedman is a great keeper.
Portugal are effectively a 1 man team.
Argentina have many star names that always under achieve.
Holland are an inconsistent side built around a lot of aging players.
The two best teams in the tournament by a LONG way are Spain and Italy.
I will go out on a limb and say one of the host nations will make the Quarter Finals as well
true say we're not through yet
nigeria will still be difficult
