    I chose Taxi--cuz no show could come up with a character like James "Jim" Ignatowski again.

    Seinfeld was great cuz of George--the man was mental!!

    Friends is getting silly now. It was good the first few seasons The laugh-track is what's killing it (not everything Chandler says is funny).

    i've never watched a whole Seinfeld in my life. a lot of people obviously loved it for time tho.

    Massive in America but Sienfield wasn't that big over here.
    When I talk to people about it most people don't know it.

    SkyOne used to represent and put it on primetime but BC used to show it at Midnight and ting

    I voted 'other' becasue all american sitcoms are crap. Give me an episode of 'Yes Minister' any day over those choices.

    all our sitcoms aint crap, but the ones in the poll are. My fav sitcom is cheers for all time but for now its trailerpark boys, I dnt think u get that in the UK though.

    My theory is that friend is only successful because there are good looking people in it. This is why we need more ugly people on TV. If ugly people were on TV, then the shows with no content will be cancelled and the shows with good content will stay on the air. MORE FREEDOM FOR THE UGLY PEOPLE.

    As far as an animated sitcom goes, Family Guy > Everything.
