Anyone with MSN 6

If you have MSN 6 and you want to keep up to date with whats happening on the forum direct from MSN like this:



then download this file:

http://www.ukmusic.com/images/ConfigCache.xml (right click and save target as put it somewhere you will remember like the desktop)

follow these instructions:

Open C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger\%passportID%\Replace the ConfigCache.xml that you downloaded with the one in this folder

(where thers %% you have to put your own settings)

If you cant see application data open the tools drop down menu then folder options/View tab/ and check the show hidden files & folders button & press OK you should be able to see application data now so carry on with the instructions

AS FAR AS I KNOW THIS ONLY WORKS WITH MSN 6 BUT YOU CAN TRY WITH OLDER VERSIONS

I think downloading MSN 6 on my laptop has broken it O can never get in from it any more... always tells me my name and password is wrong, but its not!

Can all of you find the right folder? I now there is a new version of msn 6 called msn 6 preview that doesnt have the folder in application data. Only MSN 6 BETA has the folder in application data as far as i know!
