Anyone know about computers / projectors?

Got something coming up where I will need to run a powerpoint animation constantly looping for 8 hours.

Looking at some sort of projector to run it on, how does it work, where can you easily buy one from (no specialist shops) or how much is hire for, say 2 day.

And is it simply a matter of plugging into a PC like you would a monitor? Can they be plugged into laptops?

Buying one is a lot of $$$ they cost around 4000 pounds for a good LCD video projector.

You can usually just hook them up to the VGA out of your computer and work best with laptops because then you still have your monitor (as most laptops have a seperate VGA out)

As for hiring one, I dunno...we own a few as do most Unis, hospitals, and businesses...you may have to search for video projector rentals London or something...one sec.

yes it is. they are pretty simple to use.
