yo peeps.

ummm...
well i wanna start up djing, and just wanted advice on what type of equipment i should buy i.e. what decks, mixer etc

if any of u could let me know, i'd be grateful

Buy direct drive decks, not belt drives... if you get belts then you will only end up having to buy direct drives further down the line

i started on citronic pd1's... theyre not brilliant decks, but r wicked 4 starting up with!!

1210's you will end up buying these at somepoint anyway might as well cough for them now, I have seen second hand pairs between £300- £450, Try www.loot.com
or www.adtrader.co.uk. Also nearly every club you play at are gonna have them so you might aswell get comfortable with them at home then you will have full control in the club.

Stanton Mixer are my Fav, Sk2f ltd eddition has life time guarantee on the Faders, i have been through enough mixers with replacable faders
and you end up spending a bomb. The quality is superb.

And of course Pioneer mixers are top dogs, to but Pricey.
