GOOD VOCAL

Theres way too much going on in the first track the sweeps drown out the vocals and theres too much trebble on the beat

second ones fine but bring the vocal up just a little

That's really funny, I thought that version 1 was the killa. I lean to the funkier side of things.

Thanks for the time and feedback - I truly appreciate that....

both are nice. but 2 has a better overall vibe to it. A little simpler = a little better.

Big it up Papa that's some funky assed $$$$

Thank you, Sen. This is $$$$ing bizarre. I keep feeling like the second version is too dense, and the first one only has drums, two basses, and guitar - and seems empty to me...

Whatever, both are no where near finished, so maybe they'll both be good by the time I'm done with them. It's been hard to get back into the creative groove with the time off...

Sen - you gonna send me those raw tracks soon? Can't wait to hear what you guys are putting together.

listenin in reverse order!!

CRAZYMASABIT (track 2):

THIS IS FEKKIN GOOD QUALITY. AINT TIME FOR LONG REVIEW but the sound is really good. Eqd and Compressed to a T. the mix is great, sounds finished almost. Funky shizz. Bass is a little back in the mix, needs to be brought out much more. Levels are okay elsewhere tho. Stereoness too.

gotta ask: where u get them rhodes from and what phasing unit u puttin on em (RSN PHASER, FRUITY PHASER, VST PHASER blaaa) ?

CRAZYPOOBIT (track 1):
This is so nuttin compared to the 2nd, house version. Its like random LFOing synths and jus unauthentic sounding 2 step. Sounds like u heard one 2 step song for the 1st time ever and thought u wud "have a go". Doesnt have a very UKGesque sound to it. Sounds influenced by UKG if anything.

market the 2nd one as House and earn some bucks man.

Thanks for the input, bro. The "rhodes" sound is a combo between a xlyophone sound and a synthy sound, put through an automated low-pass filter. If there was any other effects on it, it was a Waves flanger, but I don't think I put anything like that on the sound.

I think the xylophone came out of the retro AS-1.

I'm running a Mac G4 500MHz, ProTools LE on an AudioMedia III card, Retro, Reaktor, and lots of plugins. I spent my money on Genelec monitors. So it's nice gear, but didn't cost me THAT much...

Cuz I don't have that much.
