Default UKG mix of a stateside DJ and MC READY FOR DOWNLOAD!!

hey you guys, I just wanted to give you guys a link of a mix that my friend and I made a couple weeks ago. His name is Soulfonik from the TuffBreaks crew here in Dallas and myself MCin on the mix. We made it at like 3 int he morn after our weekly at the spur of the moment. We just recorded it and normalized the whole thing, so its not really mastered. My voice was recorded on the same channel and went through the mixer, so its all muffled. So basically its a bed room mix at his house. Email feedback
and comments at soulfonik@tuffbreaks.com or tinymc@groovology.net

Anyways

well, dallas has a pretty decent garage scene. people are listening to it like they never heard this sound before. They are listenin to it and liking it without know what they are listenin to. they just need to be educated on teh main players and who is who in teh scene, if you know what im sayin. knwo there tunes whateva. thats why we put this mix out.

as for as records go, most of us get them online juno, uptown, big apple, UDM you know. but there are soem local record stores that care real garage here adn there. im glad you like it. the MCin is not top notch and different from what the UK MC rhyme about. but the track selections are on point. thanks for check it out. peace

Oh, most of that is Grime. What are they feeling more in Dallas? Grime or UKG?

agx- they are actually feeling both...more UKG though, but slowly gettin to knwo the grime...

fastlance-yeah sorry, i guess i listen to to much drum and bass, UKG, rinsefm live sets...:/ i actually listen to that stuff 24/7. its no different from UK MCs trying to sound american without even knowning...sorry i dont meet to you standards..but just thought i could get some constructive critism from the board thats all. i try not to sound like im from the UK though...

hehe, it's all good tiny. I don’t have any real standards but come on man. I just found it a bit odd the way you were MCing and to be from America at the same time? I mean it's all good, what ever floats your boat, Just not something I personally would expect from a fellow American who’s into garage, remember we invented this like I said you were lucky enough to have a decent selection keep it up and put up more mixes if you can.
