DONT BREAK MY HEART.rm:

from the outset I dont like the bass/pad. its sounds like a scavanged sample off the net or something, rinsed thruout a 5 min track. (intro still rolling).

Nope. that drop has gotta hit me and it fell down in front of me. the intro kind of took away the impact of the drop cos they were too similar. the bass is hurting my nerve endings. it sounds like a cheap tuba sample.

The break isnt that bad, cuda done with a more exciting fuller drum pattern tho.

the bass change up makes me .

Song rolls along covering same old ground and generally sounds amateur and trying-to-reach-pulse-x-market. I dont get how u saved this? its appauling. It hasnt got any liveliness about it.

Some key changes sound out of key. Vox getting old.

Ive sat thru 6 mins of this. It was totally awful. not to discourage you tho. why dont u make something good? U have the production skills cos everything sat well within the song (i.e levels), the drums used in the break could have been promising. u just tried to copy pulse x flex.

anyway, thats just my opinion. maybe others will like it. after all, look at pulse x.

rite... thanks for the reply... bit harsh, but thats the only way to learn...

thats wot sort of tune it is - pulse x basic garage.

listen to the other tune - MISTERY VOCAL MIX.
I'm sure u will like that... Its not like break my heart at all.

Sorry for wastin ur time..

uum.er...im gonna have to be honest about your tune. the vocals sound like they have come of mix man(which is a really $$$$e program) u got no feeling in your music.u need something to hook people in.try and move your snare dont just sit it on the 2nd beat...put it inbetween beats to give a nice jumpy ridim goin.also the strings sound off,try something darker and a bit more vibrant.wot did u do this on? overall u got a good bassline i suggest u take the bassline and build another track around it...keep trying bruv and one day you'll be there with the big boys..........peace...

ok dodgE, no offence man, its just how i feel. think about it lyk dis Dodge: u make a basic ukg tune, a nx man makes one like urs but even more basic, then HE gets copied.....until ukg will just become one snare and flute sample lasting 10 seconds.

ill lisn 2 ur nx trak later

It anit that bad - but it is lacking something bigtyme and as everyone else has said it has no feeling in it @ all .

The intro is good - the sample needs cleaning tho'. It's just after the intro that everything falls down .

Sounds more breaky than UK G as well.

Dat Soul 2 Soul RMX is awful man !!

You've butchered up what is a classic track originally

NONE of the sounds work with the vocal mate !!

It sounds more hard house than UK G

While everyone is havin a poke at my tunes, just like to say, that i dont want to make tunes that sound exactly like every other garage tune out there, i wanna make something that sounds different.

The soul2soul remix dont sound like hard house, and it was actually a intrusmental track, i had that accapella and put it to it.
sorry if using these vocals offended you!!!!

It's sounds like a wannabe Narrows record (a bad one @ that) / Hard House track and the vocal doesn't fit it !!

To me them type of beats and styles ANIT what UK G is about - and it is just well moody !!

That's just my opinion tho -' each to there own tho' !!

Soul2soul remix:

this isnt that bad, this makes ur first tune look like a pile of $$$$, but this still needs work. This has a nearly oldskool (ripgroovey) feel to it, but the Narrows dark overtones shine thru too much.

the break is so dead and flat. it needs some snares in there and some shuffle.

the arrangement is confusing. it dont know what to expect. usually theres a sequence to follow but this has breakdowns and verses any time any place. sort out order man.

this aint half bad. i do think ur using too many basses. u shud save some for ur next tune.

this aint hard house. i thought Natural Thing said he was from back in the day, before myself, he shud rmbr this style altho not this "quality" or standard.

this has too much Narrows/2002 dark influence INSTEAD of direction and vibe.

I think its still a good try man. The 1st tune, u shud delete and deny ever making.

Iam a old skooler LOL but i thought that it was way too dark and that it didn't have n e that to me resembles the Ol Skool stuff of yesturyear !!

It sounded like a lot of the stuff that's out now (the beats aint bumpy enuff or swing enuff for me). Sound like it hasn't been swung @ all .

NThing will probably change my mind again but Frenzy almost has an oldskool feel. the break is real empty tho. not one piece of percussion. The break isnt oldskool to me, or Im not feelin it as such. it sounds like a Narrows break, dry and empty.

the vocal adds to the oldskool feel. the bass is really what does it tho. the bass riff is really offkey tho. its too complex and random sounding. I think its a sampled one hit cos its way too clipped at times.

OMG, this is soo looped. the tune lacks direction.

the helicopter bit: hmmm, what u think this is? drum and bass 96?

Frenzy is not bad (better than ur other stuff on ere) and i can see the old skool infulence in the track .

But again there's a lack of swing and skip in the snares and hi hat's in the track and them key stabs could be so much better (as it makes it sound like n e of the dark 4/4 that's out now) so i'm agreeing with auguk on this one.

The vocal just seems like it was added in for no reason !!

It's also v.repertive and could do with a change up somewhere .
