Default Remix Comp.

Here is my updated version, if changed most of it, and tried a new mixdown, please have a listen and tell me what you think, and also, what needs to be louder softer etc.

Thanks.

Paul.

nice one
chords fit now

something sounds out of tune though slightly i dunno

not bad man,too much delay on some of the vocals though i think

also bass is a bit stale , ie not much movement on some bits

not bad though

Its all sounding nicely in tune but it really needs more to keep you interested - the chords need to be funked up a bit . Try using a Rhodes or Wurli sample and just jamming with your track and use the parts you like.

I like the dubby feel of the intro with the delays and the flute pad - good and original but don't pan the vocal in the intro so hard to the left. The bass is a good sound but I reackon it needs some weight to it and you should funk this up as well. In general I think you need to add more character to your instruments by using EQ, distortion, filter sweeps, effects etc - make them sit apart in the mix and keep the listener interested.

I like the flute - moody and very original definately in keeping with the dubby feel. Why not tell us what you used to make the sounds mix it etc.

I use fruity loops, with soundfonts, and arrange it in cubase.

Thanks for listening.
