Mr. T (L)

Sounds good after the "At times I think I'm going insane..."

before that, she's sharp.

RokkoFB.

Yes i'm a producer - not a fully trained musician though. To my ear it sounds in key. In fact i'm sure its in key. But how the $$$$ would I know if it sounded a bit out after listening to it 20 times over? So I came on this "audio patio" and asked if a few other likeminded producers, could offer me advice as to whether the vocal was in key with the chords.

from this forum, and uptown records, I think I can fully say that my instinct was right, and it is in key.

good day

After awhile, your ears kinda get deadened to the subtleties of your own music...you need fresh ears to give it a listen.

And TL, it's darn close to being in key, but some parts aren't perfect...probably has to do more with the acapella than with your notes...maybe there were no notes under certain parts of the original song where the vocalist could go off key and then go back on key when the notes were sounding...

Also, time stretching always adds some unwanted pitch anomolies (like vibrato/tremolo)
