Static - I don't really know enough about drum n bass to say whether its good or not, but musically it sounds good!

Lets get perfect - nice ideas, slushy breakdown, good use of reverse, good beats too

New vocal tune - decent intro, good backing track for vocals to be added in the future

New hip hop tune - I don't think I've heard anyone on the forum really encapsulate the hip hop sound ... this is more ambient stuff to be honest, maybe Mr Scruff-ish ... if you're going for that vibe, good stuff.

Trance vs. breakbeat - Intro sounds like Chicane, and that brings back bad memories of Bryan Adams, don't really know what to say here because I generally dislike stuff like this Beats better than a trance beat though!

Static
Like Sarki, dont know enough about DnB to comment on it, but it sounds good, dont think that instrument fits... Is it a Pizz or somit?... nice bassline though

Lets Get Perfect.
I like this, however, i think its lackin energy!... Some nice effects!.. Keep at it!

New Vocal Tune.
This sounds cool.. a bit dark maybe?... again, its lackin energy!.. although your productions do have energy, just not enough in my opinion!... Good job thuogh!.. keep workin on this one!!!

New Hip Hop Tune.
Dont know enough about hiphop to comment... Sorry!

Trance Vs Breakbeat.
Personally, i cant stand trance!... however, this is more breakbeat than trance, which is good!... got a nice melody!.. and the bassline is cool...

Static -

Beat sounds quite weak. You need a stronger kick, the snare is nice though. Also try adding some tambs and a bit more percussion to beef up the beat and help it flow.
The steel drum type sound on the intro sounds really tacky and doesn't really suit that high filter cut bass sound you are using with it.
Nice reese bassline though.

Lets Get Perfect -

Nice beats aint really feeling the bassline. The sound you have used is very much a techno type sound. Got a few nice hoover drops in there though.
Its a nice vocal but I don't think it really suits the tune, its a bit too dark. That vocal would sound better with a club asylum style tune.

New Vocal Tune -

Strings remind me a bit of dre for some reason. Nice beats, nice subtle sub bassline. Would like to hear this when the vocals are layed over the top.

New Hip Hop Tune -

I don't know much about hiphop but the stuff I do listen is much more raw then this. This sounds more like something you'd hear on an ibiza chillout album or something. Musically is very nice to listen to though.

Trance Vs Breakbeat -

Nice guitar on the intro. Beats are more bigbreak (chemical brothers style) then breakbeat. Bassline suits the guitar nicely. Got a sorta hybrid (breakbest producer) style ambience to it

I dont know if its because its the quality of clip or what, but the beats don't stand out more. I think compression might solve that? Your the one doing the course though...

Where's the samples from in Trance V Breakbeat?

I like the bass in TvB, and the first once. You should take the elastic band bass out of Lets Get Perfect and use this one.

Oh yeh, one more thing. Your drums are weak on every track. Kicks especially.

static:
well wtf? the dnb break is really weak. The supposed dnb snare sounds like two trashcans being smashed together stomp style, with the any bass EQd off. Nice touch of caribbean with the steel pan thing - WRONG FOR DRUM AND BASS THOUGH! Terrible choice of lead. Awfully used. The arrangement is poor. The bass riff is so random and cold and I cant get into it. The snare really is jarring. Sounds terrible. My gosh. The tune had no direction or vibe. Sorry. Maybe its jus me, but I cant say anything good here.

OMG, and I had Windows Media player on LOOP, so its been going on for 5 mins. Woah. I cudda died.

hiphop tune:
this is much more pro than that static tune I jus had to hear. Nice mellow, how I like hiphop. Punchy break, esp the kick. I like the chop bit at the end of every couple of 8 bars or suttin. String on the intro is a bit too high, jus turn em down a TINY bit, cos its fighting with the break. Break seq is good too. Bass was ok, kinda went over my head, cant rmbr it now.

TvB:
already the break is a bit weird. Not really buying the video rip samples; theyre jus added for the sake of it, nuttin to do with the tune. Well the break is awful and grooveless. No bounce. The guitar would be good in suttin else but here it sounded out of place with the rest of the tune e.g. the renegade bass.

Well u got the energy man. I wish I had as many tunes as you. Jus need to keep at it!
