Default okay okay okay, slap me...The Remix Contest Revisted

I am so sorry about longing this out ... but as far as I can find, here's the official entry list:

PaulyC
http://bwcarter.users.btopenworld.com/ansu.ram

Deztruction
http://www.angelfire.com/music3/Dezzy/Luck2.rm

Qwest
http://www.dnbc.co.uk/audio/qwest/aintno1.rm

Whiteman Harris
http://djsarki.com/aintnostop.rm

Harley
www.reedz.fsnet.co.uk/nostop.rm

Overblithe
http://kotisivu.raketti.net/overbli..._stoppin_RMX.rm

FrankieP
http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/f6bc...CflXO9A4wwvHPID

Please let me know if there's anyone else and if any of the links are dead. Also, Qwest can't really win as he's staff, but I thought I'd stick his mix in here...

Let me know before the end of the week re: dead links etc. as I will be judging this weekend and anything that is dead obviously won't count.

Edited to add FrankieP's mix back

Pauly C:
Audio quality is very poor. Not a big fan of the string line. Interesting chords / bassline interaction. Like the pacing of the arrangement. Don't like the straight piano chords during the chorus, but love the piano arpeggios. The chorus/adlibs at the front of the chorus starting around 3:00 get messy.

Deztruction:
Nice mellow flow to this one. The best part is the overall vibe - you establish a space and keep it there. Nothing stands out as blowing me away, but nothing seems out of place either. Like the bass line in the second verse the best of all "parts".

Whiteman:
Not very original compared to the others. You found a nice track match with the vocal, which is a talent of itself.

Quest:
Still some tuning issues, though I like the foundation of the bassline. Probably the tightest groove of all the tracks.

Harley:
Like the moodiness and space in this one. The beat is a little lacking, doesn't really make me want to find my lady and get on the floor. Like the feel of the bassline on this one. Maybe a little too much jiggy stoppy / starty stuff.

Overblithe and Frankie:
Links don't work.

So if I had to vote without hearing these last two, and I love the other stuff I've heard from these two playas, I would have to give my vote to Deztruction, since he got a nice vibe like Harly, and had a good arrangement like Pauly C.

Good work, everybody.
