Same tune iv just uploaded it as an real player file now so that it downloads quicker although the bass will probably distort loads< oh well>
This is the 4x4 tune

2step mix...

Nice and loud!

I'm not feeling tons of shuffle in either tune? That may add something to it if you can up the swing factor!

Need to put some fx on those strings, as they sound a little too "whole" a little too strong - may be nicer a little more transparent with some delay/chorus for fattening as opposed to volume...

Bassline works pretty well! Some good variation there.

Add some human elements to it and you'll have something good!

Very difficult to listen to streaming coz it keeps buffering.

The kick sounds too housey for my likeing but then again thats the way 4/4 beats all seem to be going this days.

The sitar type sample sounds like the one in fruity - I'd change that if I was you - it doesn't sound very professional - if you like the sound though a bit of heavy compression should sort it out.

Also I'd take out the melody after the drop and not bring it in till atleast 8 bars - otherwise it sounds a bit too repetative.

Apart from that its all good - bassline is nice and rolling.

LOL at the 2 step mix - that is pure breakbeat mate not 2 step

It sounds like you'r using the same kick as the 4/4 one - try and get a more punchy one and the beat will be good

I think that overall the arrangement is good (the parts breathe back and forth and the changes happen in the right spots), the songwriting is just okay, but the sound is holding things back. Everything is too two-dimensional for my tastes.

its quite good - not so sue on the bass sound but the beat and tune is good (maybe change the sitar to an electric piano type thing but its up to you - the second bass bit is good yet there is some distortion

the 2-step remix is more of a breakbeat as someone said yet its still quite good - this versions seems to need something extra so that it sounds less repetitive,

but on the whole some good work just need to touch it up

respect

Like Stylus said, its hard to comment on the streaming MP3, cos it keeps buffering... but ill try my best...

The 2-step remix...
The beats sound ok, i aint too sure on that snare, doesnt really match the kick... imho, change one of them.. the bass on this one is dirty.. and it matches the sitar sample, which is good.. try an add a bit more variation within the bassline...

the 4x4 mix...
as this is more or less the same as the 2-step mix, i wont say much.. but the beat sounds ok, like Sen said, you need some swing in there to help the beat roll along!.. and i like some of the variations in there..

Nice 1 mate. Id like you t slow the bassline down a bit and make the intro shorter. Other than that a nice beat.
