kinda different....the only reall "garage" elements could be said to be the open hat after the second breakdown and the bassline...but who cares, I like it, and I'd play it in a garage set...i am feeling the different vibe you got to it with the Brazilian guitar...i like something else in it to maybe switch up and have a more complex melody besides the guitar sample...probebly the bassline...
good work...

nice spanish guitar in the intro, that a sample or did you play it?

Nice break, fits nicely with the guitar. Sounds quite slow? what bpm is it? Sounds really drum 'n' Bassy, its a bit like a garage Barcalona or LK. Nice switch up to 4/4 after the drop, nice rhodes as well. If i were u mate i'd make this into a DnB tune, would sound better i think.

Thanks for the comments, guys.

@ Sherman Jones: Yes I played the samba guitar part on a friend's gut string and recorded it with a crappy dynamic. Got a nice condenser now though so the next one that uses an acoustic guitar riff should sound much better.

It's actually recorded at ~148 BPM or something - quite fast. The vibe of the song though makes it seem really relaxed ...

I think I am going to do a DnB re-lick but like the "champagne and cocaine" vibe that it carries as a garage vibed (as far as I could push it) toon. So I prolly will keep this version at ~145 or so.

Any more comments from the ukmusic.com massive?
