not too bad although i reckon the beat lacks energy, if u going on that minimalistic tip that so many tunes have theese days then how aboutt some bigger percussion sounds, either that or loose the rnb flow that so many grime tunes seem to follow and get some breaks going on.

have a listen to my grime tune in the other post and give some feedback plz

It's across between Hiphop and 8bar.

I like it,

I think the melodys sound good, you lot r saying he needs more in the beat, I think if there was more in the beat it would sound rushed compared to the melodys

maybe its just me, but i like my beats which is why when it comes to 8bar grime im only really feeling a few bigshot and jon e cash's better stuff. I would say I like wiley but his basslines are appaling.

fastlance has the talent he just needs bigger beats!

Bigger snare drums and not claps, get some old hiphop loops and cut up the individual bass, hihats and snares, use compression and eq even distortion if u feel the need. try layering drum sounds and make them play identical patterns. the track is too jiggy, it needs something in the to let you know the track bounces, like an open hi hat.

an extreme would be i love you, they really distort the drums and stuff in that tune, although personally i'd go for something less extreme but with more hi hats in there so you get away from that rnb style groove and something a bit more breakbeat-ish. The problem with 8 bar is it all flows the same and most of the producers use the same sounds as musical mob.
