Default New 4/4 tune

Hiya, I made a tune and I'd appreciate some feedback, I would have liked to have uploaded an mp3 so that you could appreciate the extra bass notes that have been cut off thanks to real producer, but you should get the general vibe

cheers!

mr. Lew, nice work. Infectious from the get go

Simple and effective. Excellent use of vocal cut ups and effects to get the desired cut and paste sound while making it feel like it was all supposed to co-exist as such.

Nice bubbling bline. I think I'm hearing a sub hit there somewhere, but can't be sure...if it isn't there...it should be...needs some padding up on the bottom end.

Really feeling the overally bounciness of the track - very expressive filtering.

It is sounding a tad sparse at the moment tho...like it needs something a little more over the bass and beats...some kind of pad - here's one now, but I'm wondering if it's too late in the song. (just before the 4/4 kicks start again).

Flesh it out some more and you've got a winner!

I like that Todd-style intro, sounds very nice with the organ and then with the simple kicks. Perhaps leave the vocals in when you introduce the open hat - also let it run a bit further when you get the additional snares, just to lengthen it a bit.

The bassline is a bit fairground at the top end, get a sound that handles that end better, the sub is nice on it tho. It could possibly be seen as a tad repetative because it's not that full - when you cut out the vocals again to the bass perhaps look at an alternative breakdown with different chords a la Todd? That second highly reverbed organ sound adds a proper old skool effect, nice.

Overall it's a little empty, it needs something filling it out - beats leave too often and if those aren't filled out then the tune has to be with either a consistant vocal or something. Nice start tho.

Great vocal sample!

Nice song, a little bit ruff at times but good groundwork.
