watch for some over rezzy parts on the vocal filter but apart from that it sounds crisp

Nice cut up vocals (as usual) not really feeling that kinda glimmer pad on the breakdown but the piano is phat! Bassline is nice - suits the vocal well. This has defanately got an old skool house kinda feel to it

Like the breakdown "It's so exciting" - the pad sounds good on that.

Vocals sound good through out - they're all in key and very well sequenced

I defenatly think you should enter with this

Craig aint it about time you started taking things to hand..

This could be a serious contender if you put more than the bit here and a bit there lazy Craig V style of production to it..

So why not make an effort to finish this and enter..

Just a thought

totally agree, if you actually spent some time on this it would be a serious contender.

firstly sort out the chords, been listening again and what other people said on the forum, they sound good but sound quite outdate like a bit bobby brown era. They are good oh yeah, but maybe you need a catchy riff, so what you go is cool maybe if you work on it would work better. Add other instruments, layer the drums as you go on, but make it more pulsing and harder. But it's a good track man mos def

Lol Craig - I may not even have time to get it to the UK! I'm so far behind and really busy this week...summer session starts and I have a new group of students to teach...sigh.

I like it, but if you're going to be too lazy to finish it, I'm going to be too lazy to leave thorough comments. illy:

It is damn good, though.

OK Craig...i just listened to it...and I'll just say one thing.

If you don't enter this, whoever wins may not really deserve the win.

Ok, I'll say more.

Stutter up the chords more, for some more groove a la tuffjam type thing.

You know what I like most about it? The fact that you used the same chord progressions as I did roughly - great minds think alike

ENTER THIS

yeah, I hate it too. The verses are alright tho.

lol @ "real audio makes it sound better than wat it really is"

I do believe that is the first time in the history or RA that they have been accused of making something sound BETTER

Oi, filter thief! Well at least I inspired something...

I like this, few things. Make the vocal cuts sharper at the beginning. Also on that first breakdown its a little empty with jus the swirling thing, fill it out with another sphere or pad. The piano goes really well but as Bloodsel said, the piano led thing is a bit intense at times. I'd say perhaps go for 8 bars of just beats and bassline, roll into the vocals and piano, reckon it'd have real impact like that. Bline and all is a beauty.

Really like that breakdown for the male vocal, you've shined a piece of $$$$ there cos his vocal is really crap. It overlaps a bit tho at the end when it goes back into the chorus so perhaps just tidy that up. The synth addition also works really well, sounds a bit spidery though so make it lighter if possible. Also an idea, break the beats up a bit more, few drum rolls here and there and perhaps a filter and such.

Finally it's a bit too short for a dance track as well - 5 minutes and Craig my son, I'd definately have to say good work sunshine.
