Default LIBERTYX REMIX PART 2.

Message edited. Iv Changed it a bit, made some alterations, ne way please give me some feedback.

ive taken out the squeeky bassline and changed it for a simple bassline.

turned up the vocal, although its gone $$$$, when u increase gain and then save u cant click undo, so by decreasing the gain it all gos $$$$ed up, so theres a little bit of distortion (on the wav file) but rms are $$$$ ne way.

this should sound a bit better, i still dont know where to go wiv this, im finding it quite difficult, n i dont really like this version.

ne way here it is.............

The beats r heavy dey remind me of a sticky production!!

The vocals r really quiet, u can berely here them on the
first marching type tingy. When i first heard that bit i thought it sounded strange....but it blends in really well with the main melody and if u changed the first bit it might not sound as good when it comes 2getha if ya no wot i mean!
.......
Now ive listened 2 it a few times im kinda lovin off them first beats but they need 2 be a bit quieter or vocals louder.

I havent listened 2 the first one ya did but i think people r saying it aint all that because its different...i think because it aint a deep dark basey tune like every1 is used do they dont give it a chance.....they complain about all the dark basey tunes and dont realise that it is the only thing they r accepting as good tunes!

Ive liked all your productions coz u go for a nice smooth melody rather then all the base and $$$$.

And ive come to the conclusion that you should beat dj sarki with a stick for his comment.....that woz juss rude.....i swear sen said to give constructive criticism where needed but not to just diss somebodies efforts.

it starts off almost in full slow. I don't know if you just recorded it before the drop or what.

I like the bassline - it goes well with with the vocals but its way too loud and overpowers everything. I don't like that squidgy kinda sound over the top of it though

starts off almost in full slow?? wot u mean!? lol.

yeh, im gona turn up the vocal, take out the squeky bit at chorus, i knew it sounded $$$$ as soon as i uploaded it!

thing is i hav to hav some sort of simplebassline ova the chorus or it dont sound rite, i just rushed that bassline,

i time stretched it in wavelab3 from about 103bpm to135. i can send u it if u like, its quite easy to doin cubase tho, just select it and go to audio proccessing or something, then click timestretch, and type in wot bpm u want.

hav u got msn, i could send u it on there if u cant do it.

thanks forlistening every1.

I agree with me's comparison to Sticky - it's pretty good - just needs the vox to shine through a bit more, and maybe to sound a little less 'busy'

ok, good...got it...

I think it's too complex/busy...it really takes away from the vocals...the tuning is really interesting tho...has a kinda arabic feel to it!

You need to realize that sometimes less is more...the vocals are suffocating under the notes.

Anytime your bass sound is in the higher pitches, it ceases to work...the lower stuff rocks tho...

Simplify it a bit, and vary that bass sound with an envelope follower or filter...it's way too samey and very harsh - pound pound pound...

Your instrumentation is too heavy...relax a bit and let the vocals flow through...the arabic feel would really be complemented by the vocals shining through.
