Ive heard this b4 somewhere u na? WTF?? MAT JAM??? ONLINE??
Ive heard it deff. Anyway, u dont need no feedback, u already released it. I guess u wanna know whos gonna buy it innit?

Its ok. Some riffs stray dangerously on the Misteeq cheese but its still vibey and bouncy in places. This Misteeqness is what made it more of a 2002 thing, rather than a 1998 thing. The chords at the beginning (rhodes?) were 1997 vibey and cuda made the tune take on an oldskool feel if u kept with them. oh well. good luck.

How did u mix it down and take it to studio. Did they fix it a lot? what condition was the tune when u brought it there?

YES MAN. HEARD THIS. UR FROM REASON STATION INNIT! YES!! B Side was made for the hell of it. Not feeling the B side. Its not Dark. Its jus amateurish. I cant talk, but from ur a side, ur b side shuda been better. B side is random: renegade bass from out of nowhere??? random amateurness. unshuffled chaos. eeeeeew. nope. B side has gotta go.

keep up the Reason tho man!!!

I did take it to the studio but it was not mixed down in the studio, that was all done in reason, all they did in the studio was eq the track a bit and put a slight bit of compression on it, aparently they have to do this for all masters so that they record onto vynil properly.

yeah man.

did u add compression and eq in reason as well to get the mixdown as good as possible b4 mastering? Sorted out clipping and levels bla bla?

Ur A side was good work man. ur B side shuda been a FRESH idea. not a remix muddle up. But big it bro

i used the parametric eq's to stop the sounds clashing, a bit of compression on the beats but thats about it. well i did make the audio didn't clip.

How many records sis you press up and how much did it cost, and while your there who distributes for you.
This must be a milestone for you, releasing your first single, something i've been waiting to do for ages, but keep putting it off. Big yourself up for having the balls to do it.
Once again the second track is heavy, I reckon it can split genre's.

crackfiend, i have only sent copies to uptown, im waiting a reply back from blackmarket but nobody there ever answers the phone!

matt jam will be playing the track on his next show.

I pressed 500 records which cost no more than 700 quid. The track is being distributed by myself as I could not find a distributor that was interested. The distribution companies will only distribute 8 bar garage at the moment.

Like i said before, if anybody wants to order a copy they can do so from my site.

How many units did uptown take from you Lee? Also in total how many units of this track have been sold?

Your probably right, but most london shops will only take vocal garage from big producers, the vocal scene in london is well and truly dead. Most of my internet orders have come from people outside of london.
