I have the full version of Reason, if you want it, BUY it!
Don't steal software, if you hope to make a tune using it, forget it, when you buy most software you also BUY a licence to sell and/or distribute your creation...

I'm not being funny, but to go and post a website for him to get a crack/patch/keygen whatever, is pretty stupid, you could have at least emailed him privately!

By posting the message, you now help others to get cracks for stolen software, go BUY Reason, if you REALLY need it, you'll see spending the money warrants OWNING it, ya cheapskate/media theif!

Some of us cant afford the prices that these companies charge...

And who cares if some one uses cracked material no big deal...

besides these companies are twanged up to the yin yang so a

few cracks never did any 1 harm.

If you can't afford the price of something, then it isn't for you!

If someone is really serious about making music, then they will BUY the software and equipment to produce quality tracks.
Likewise, if someone was SERIOUS about djing, would they steal a second hand pair of belt-driven turntables?

All i'm saying is, if I were to be serious about creating tracks, then I'd by the software, or else, get a second hand PS2 and a copy of Music 2000, or E-Jay, and stop wasting peoples time!

With all due respect, who the $$$$ are you to tell people that they

can/cant use cracked software...

Your statement about the turntables is like telling people

not to dowload mp3's but instead buy the tracks on cd otherwise

the music industry will decline...what a load of $$$$$$$s....

when you are starting out cracks are an efficient way of

exprementing with different programs and once you feel

comfortable with your chosen sequencer or music package

then shell out on the next version that comes along.

if companies are so concerned (like they say they are) they could

easily make there software anti pirate and reduce the number of

people obtaining cracks and so on.

Cracked software all the way - until P2P's are locked off forever, I will download bootleg programs for the rest of my life.

Blade - would you pay £500 for a program if you could download it for free at the comfort of your own home ?? You don't even need to get off your ass to do it !

You all seem to be missing the point...
As i said earlier, when you BUY the software, you BUY a licence to create and distribute the work created on it...
If you were a serious musican, you would have no rights to sell or distribute or even CREATE something on STOLEN software, your arguements have no ground, whats the difference in stealing a £200 piece of software, why not just walk into JB's and steal a £200 sampler off their shelves, and walk out saying `why should i pay for it, if i can get it for free this easy?`... or make it even easier, and pay some little oik twenty sobs to steal it for you, then you'd have no worries then? Stealing is STEALING!
If you are using stolen/pirated software, then fine, just don't expect to create something worthy of sale, you think Mr Beddingfield stole his copy of Making Waves???????????????
- I think not...

CASE CLOSED.

My mate downloaded Fruity off the net, made a track,

Sold 4000 units.

He payed $$$$ all for anything and made a few quid too.

when record labels listen to your tunes, do you think they ask what u made them on ????
Furthermore, do u think they ask you if the sofware was cracked ?

I Think not my friend.

True, but thats why there are DEMO's and TRIAL Versions.

As if they dont allready. Look how much times Emagic pushed back the release of logic 5 because they tried to employ the best anti piracy methods they could. Couple weeks after it finally came out it got cracked. Same with Win XP.

Yes, software can be expensive, but I started with freeware, shareware, right up to Logic and Soundforge and I can only say you get what you pay for.

I think its cool to download apps/cracks and check stuff out if you're just playing around. But if you're releasing tunes and making money you should pay for the tools you use. Its only fair that other people get paid for the work they do, if you're making money via their efforts.

Blade man, stealing sumfing from a shop is a little different don't you fink? Have u never borrowed a friends CD and made a copy for yourself? Made a mix tape? Recorded something off the net? Downloaded mp3's? Installed a mate's game onto your PC? It's the same thing with this! I wouldn't walk into a coomputer shop and nick it, but if it's there for you on a plate to download a free copy, why not?

I get what you're saying and it's very noble of you, but come on...
