Default FAO: north american producers

im interested in getting some tracks from various producers in north america to create a stateside garage mix showcasing our talent.

im already getting a couple tracks from bionicbooty in chicago, i have gotten 6 tracks from mundo in dallas, and i got all the tracks from boosted's wmc demo. i know that oron has been producing some stuff, but the link in the audio patio is broken. if you all can get me some some links to high quality mp3s, cds, or dubs of tracks from na producers, id like to start on this project... id like to get about 60-80 min mix if i get enough tracks, and id like to have a variety.

there are several benefits to this, some of these i have spoken to bionicbooty about briefly. i can get this mix played on radio here in austin from noon to one in the afternoon (thereafter they play mixes like this at random after hours). i will also post a link to this on electronic music boards here in austin, dallas, and ukmusic.com as well as on my website (everyone else can feel free to post it on your city's board as well, ill host the mix from my webserver). i can also play this on my tuesday nite broadcast. im not sure if this type of thing has been done or attempted before, but id like to see what i can do.

the best way to get in touch with me is email: preston@preficks.com... i check it regularly, and will reply asap. so let me know what you think, and get me your songs!

(i didnt know if this was to go in audio patio or recording studio... sorry if moderator has to move it)

Oron has a couple of his tracks up on mp3.com, as do e-trinity and TS Heritage. Obviously you'd have to e-mail them to go ahead and use them, but I know each of the three have stuff on vinyl also. Also, I know Dinesh has a new track coming out. His business e-mail address is Goldspot@hotmail.com. Hope this helped at all.

right on, thanks for the info, ill definitely check out all those sources.

im also going to ok this with all of the producers before i do this, im just trying to get a tally of some of the bigger names and such. im interested in hearing stuff from anyone stateside tho. not all tracks have to be on vinyl, i can easily burn mp3s on a cd to work with them.

ill check with these people and see what i can get.

i know that sen has some tracks as well, if you could get me some links to your stuff as if you are interested.

sure, and if you want the full audio version of it, that'd be doable.

GNotorious (www.soulchampion.com) and myself write together as well as seperately.

sweet, this is a nice site. i must live under a rock, as i never knew about it... do you have contact info for everyone on this site? i know i have some of the TS Heritage stuff... i downloaded the rest. im gonna have to get some mp3s of some of them instead of the ram files....

do you have contact info for these people on this site? you dont have to do anything about it now, just curious so i can get in touch with them... im going to pick stuff out first... my goal is to get at least one track from each producer, maybe two if i have space for them... lemme know, ill be around (i have finals next week, but after that, i plan to get started on it).

Preficks ...

All of the .mp3 versions of my tunes are available on my website http://www.boosted.com/releases.htm ... you can download them there.

What you have planned sounds good to me ... let us know what type of response you get from call-ins (if any).

L8rz,
Toby
