| I think I commented on this track a while ago...didn't I?
Anyway, it's phat phat phat
I like the offkey stabs before the chorus the best.
If you sliced up the vocals (more vocal edits would be good too), you may be able to tighten up the timing...the chorus is good, but the verses have some odd timings...
Nice work |

| Actually, being a bum, I threw this one onto a CD and spun it out a couple weeks ago and people seemed to really dig it. Just a couple of comments....first, it's way too short. I don't have a conventional mixing style when it comes to UKG, I like to pitch to EQs so there's the vocal from one track running over the bassline from another track and blend them as well as possible. For the way that I mix, a 2:57 long track was really cutting it close. Second, the bassline is kinda weak, and it could probably use some more adjustment overall to make it sound like a remixed track, not just the same track with a different beat under it. Either way, I dig it and I'll probably try playing it again this week, but if you guys come out with a more final version of it, I'd appreciate if you post it up as an mp3. At least that way you're getting a little exposure over here stateside. |

| Thanks for the response. That is exactly the kind of constructive
critisism we are looking for.
We are glad to see that you enjoy our material.
As you may have noticed, we have posted our entire
promo cd on the forum (which includes a fresh re-edit
of the family affair remix and some other tracks).
If you could take a peak on the promo-cd, and give us
some response on the other songs to we would
really appriciate it.
Keep an eye on this forum, as we are going to
post future tracks here.
Keep in touch!
Peace
