Well, has a kinda so solid feel to it...the MCs should love it

that's not a dis, either!

it's actually got a really nice baseline...you may have to re-eq the track to leave some space in the midranges where the human voice is...the pokey noises you have kinda drift into that range and will mush up the mix.

Some good drum switch ups.

I like the bline a lot...as well as the chords - in fact, the chords are better than the loud stabby pokey noise...mellow that sound out and you may have a better mix.

Nice effort!

yeah, agree with sen there, has a very so solid feel (kind of a cross between dilema and oh no with better string sounds)

agree with the stab sound comment too, let's bring up the sub bass in the mix for more of a rumble and then you might have a right tune on your hands...nothin i would play however, jus not my stylee

cut down the volume on the stab so that somone could actualy emcee overit without sending the tune to squelchy hell

what program do you use? if it's fruity, i can run you through it in more detail

Personally I prefer straight beats than swingy, for mc'ing tunes.

But the trax aight still.
Agree about the bass needing a bit more oomph as well.

compression on the bass the mild compression on overall mix = oomph

Use subtractive eq techniqes as well (i.e. instead of boosting all frequencies, try subracting the frequencies that you don't need to clear some headroom so you can boost the volume/compress a sound without a noisefloor)

jus experiment in your program untill you get the loudest bass you can w/o distortion...also, be sure you're monitoring with all bass bost on your stereo off...that will fukk up your mix!

Right this aint great feedback. Sen knows wot hes talkin bout but i think its very Target or Wiley. I reckon tho, with the same structure make the drum beat slightly less breathless. Make it darka. Maybe as a separate mix coz this is heavy.
