Default F.A.O-OF HARLEY, SHOCKWAVE 1XTRA

Wha gwarn Harley it's Breaker, mans is using the name 'Danger Mouse', until the moderators of this site sort out my other account.

Anyway, man was listening to Femme Fatale on 1xtra tonight, and she dropped your tune 'Shockwave'. Femme played it with some other 8-Bar tunes, and believe me, it went down well....Big your self up......................
She said at the moment she is really feeling the 8-Bar stuff.

I have said, i'm more into the Breakbeat Zincish style, but 8_Bar seems to be creeping up on me. I heard your tune for what it was, and man felt the technical, simplistic, stacatto, atmospheric feel.(or deepness)
Also, I think this 8-Bar stuff, is technical, and should not be taken for minimilist or a made in 2 hours tunes.
Well done mate, first person I heard from the patio, to get their tune played on radio. peace!....................

yes yes

i'd like to echo the sentiment of dangermouse,

harvey man, your stuff is deeeep! well produced, stripped down, attention to detail. its hard to make a minimal tune work over 5/6 minutes - the sounds have to be just right, but you've done it mate. Venom is illness! and i'm feeling the lift too. got to hear these tunes out over a system..

massive boost.

S A F E !!!!!

Big up you lot for noticing there's a bit more to 8 bar when I make it !!

I actually heard Venom played from start to finish on Rinse the other day without an MC on it - it made me proud that I listened to that track and I didn't get bored or annoyed by it (considering I've been hearing it for 6 months !!).

I'm glad you lot are recognising. I get a lot of hate for stuff I'm making at the moment but I'm just attending to my target market, and it's working well so far.

I've got breakbeat tracks and Dubstep tracks too, but the scene isn't ready for that yet so I'm going to continue producing (almost) minimal tracks.

Attention to detail, trust me.

Listen deeper than just the basslines - effort is always put in - I don't want to be remembered as a has been, my future releases will prove that I have staying power !!

BIG UP !
