Maybe it's just me, but I've been noticing a disrespectful attitude by a very few people here when it comes to leaving comments for other peep's work on this forum. I'm not an original here, but I've been around a while, so I consider myself one of the dogs here, and this my back porch. And I don't like other dogs leaving $$$$ on my back porch.

I don't think I need to name names, but I feel the need to get a few things off my chest - especially with a "competition" brewing.

1. Everyone here has a different level of training, experience, or gear. Just because it's not to the level of your work (or what you think your work is), does not mean it is cool to insult them. There's a way to offer suggestions for improvement, without making everyone feel bad.

2. No one posting here is a superstar. If any of us knew everything, we wouldn't be here, we'd be out solving world hunger, or something. Please treat this board as a way to not only improve everyone else's work, but listen to other's comments and improve YOURSELF. This, to me, is the spirit of the competition Sen, JJ, and DC are putting on.

3. On the main forum, people are complaining that garage aint got the vibe it used to. The up-and-comers on THIS forum will be the future of garage production, and if we want the vibe to be right, we've got to start now. Support each other, there's plenty of room in the music industry for all of us.

4. If anybody got a problem with what I'm saying :diss: ...You really don't want to see me mad. :angry:

5. Big up to the people who treat everyone here with respect. The list is long.

I aint be around long enough to see this attitude you mention and I hope I don't after all, reason I'm here is because other forums don't get on with garage and that just aint right.

It's up to the decent people here to encourage a good attitude by setting the example. Booty is better placed than most - both the tunes he's put up here are purte badness! Teach 'dem Boooty!
