sounds pretty nice but theres no real intro - it sorta just plays for a few bars then goes straight into the main tune

Like I said, was just playing around with the chords. I usually do this and build everything up adding elements here and there. Sometimes I even come up with the intro last. Will try to complete it tonite. Thanks for the feedback.

I agree with GM, it SOUNDS fast, but I think its in the 140-ish range - which is not unusual. Maybe if you space out the drums a little and nudge the vocal around, it will sound not as rushed. Dunno, though.

The time compression you used added a LOT of vibrato. The rest of the tuneis sounding so good, it makes the vibrato sound that much worse. So far, so good, though.

nice keys...very very nice keys, in fact - slick sounding.

need to pick the vox up out of the mix tho...sounding a bit clouded by the other elements.

Nice and effective so far!

I'm halfway done with the arrangement. No intro yet but the outro's done!
I'm going for a more classy mix as opposed to a dark dubby one. I think it suits the vocals better if you're going for a full-on vocal treatment. Will post and update on this thread when I get it sorted tonite. Cheers for the comments!

Check this out...http://www.ukmusic.com/forum/showth...=&threadid=9262

The link for the full mix (well almost full) is on that thread so please give it a listen. The one that you had heard is just a rough draft of what it is now. Thanks for your comments!
