Default All those trying to produce musical/oldskool sounding/actual-garage

UR ALL FOOLS.

Nah jokes, Im one of you. But I think its time for us peeps to take the piss and have some fun. This aint an anti nuskool garage post, but, Im saying, we all know nuskool garage can be made in 40 seconds with a matchbox, a whoopi cushion and no talent, so lets make some and prove it.

we migth even get it signed, then we can earn enuff money to buy some proper software to make the real oldskool soulful stuff.

Soon I will upload my $$$$ I bothered to mess with. ITS SUPPOSED TO BE ON A $$$$ WILEY NUSKOOL VIBE! ITS A PISS TAKE!

LETS SHOW THESE NUSKOOLERS THAT THEIR STUFF DONT REQUIRE TALENT OR EFFORT.

(yeah Im bored at 2am again)

actually, I dunno if it has the typical 8 bar change thing, but its deff. the most undrproduced crap Ive ever exported out of any software package. Its got more probability of gettin signed than any thing Ive done.

>> Jus sent it to online friend to laugh at (he knows the coup about nuskool/grime) and he said its got too much atmos for grime, and compression, not enuff distorted bass or synths...

trus me, make $$$$ pisstake grime. its stress releiving cos u dont need to worry about making quality

fair enuff i see ur point. the majority of nu skool garage is under produced compared to old stuff and theres less "musical" know how bein used. but thats mainly coz people who havnt had the classical training privelage have been allowed to access music production kits coz of recent technologies and vehicle wot they happen to be feeling.
to be honest tho u do post way way too many nu skool is $$$$ posts. i think every1 knows and appreciates ur views on this forum so theres no need. however, sayin this isnt an anti nu skool post then sayin that nu skool needs to have a certain degree of "$$$$ness" is some wot contradictory and even if ur track is makin a point, it didnt even get my foot tappin. i probably think this is due to the fact that u hate that stuff that music with the passion but its very audible that u hate wot ur makin and doesnt cut it at all.

i wanna echo wot fastlance said, i aint restricted to one genre or sub genre ahem but that one clip i heard of u with the marimba bass, beat and strings was pretty good, more of that and less yap please.

Bloody hell ag, thats not even funny. Erm, nothing like that will make it, its gotta be something new and people will buy it. Eg - Pulse had the 8 bar switch without drums for one part - simple and it worked. Formula had the cowbell sound which made people like it. Oi had the 'oi' sound, etc. Please just go back to what u were doing before! Safe

Basically what they're saying is make original $$$$ music. :S

Like the first person to have turtlehead or the first person to do a floater.

I compared that pile of $$$$ to those on big apple and the $$$$ I did was too complex. It was a 4 bar break, had too many elements, had too much dynamic range, not enuff distorted/ poorly sampled synths and was generally too clean and not moody enuff to start fights to or encourage screwfaces.

If I was tryin to rip the piss out of grime I need to make it originally $$$$, like Bass Invada said.

I like the term - "you can't polish $$$$". It has no proper texture it just folds apart in your hands. Like UKG03.

I know what else was wrong:

I should have:

+ MADE THE MIX EMPTY AND AMATEUR SOUNDING

+ HAD A BASS FOR 6 BARS ON OCTAVE (say..) 3, THEN PITCH IT UP FOR 2 BARS, A LA WILEY/JON E CASH

+ COWBELLS OR DISORTED BASS ON ITS OWN, LIKE RICHIE SAID

+ MADE THE 8 BAR CHANGES MORE BLATENT, ie take break off (mute)

+ DONT MIX IT DOWN

+ DONT TRY AND MAKE IT SOUND CLEAN, RMBR: ITS RAW THUG SCREWFACE ENERGY IM AFTER..

+ MAKE IT AS $$$$ AS POSSIBLE

etc...

Or you could the sticky classic. Have a bass for 6 bars constantly then for the last 2 cut it dead dramatically in little stabs. Sounds amazingly $$$$.

lol I made I love pulse x (The original version on the b side) on fruity and stuck it on kazaa for a laugh, then a couple of weeks later sum1 thought it was good enough to press onto vinyl.

Only took me about 2 hours if you include the time it took to sample i love you and the snare from pulse x
