Default Ain't No Stopping Us (In The Works Mix)

I just might enter this competition after all. Unmixed, unEQ'd, and unfinished. Just layed the vocals over some beats, rhodes and bass. All done inside my Yamaha Motif6 using its onboard sequencer and integrated sampler (still waiting for my computer to arrive from a major upgrade). Cheers!!!

Oh yeah... CLICK here...

I thought your computer was broke.....hmmmm....

so far, this is FAR and away the best mix I've heard. The cutting of the vocals is class, as is the rhodes. You're going to have fun making that bass be anything but pillow-ey! The Motif 6 must be a MONSTER!!! The bridge sounds weird against the chords.

I LOVE IT!!! N.A. peeps running away with yet ANOTHER comp. Too bad they banned us at Radio 1!

Fixed the link... dunno what happened. Thanks for the comments Booty, yep, no computer yet. Just used the Motif's internal sequencer and sampler plus its onboard sounds. The sampler on the Mo is great, it has this function they call "slice" and cuts up the loop ala Recycle, lays the bits and pieces over the keyboard and generates a midi file in song mode.

Anyway, here's the new LINK

Cheers!!!

Nice one ... the stereo panning on the keys at the breakdown made my eyes twitch 8-) ... like the b-line much.

Chords sound nice...
