Default Aint no Stoppin Us - DJ Luck & MC Neat (Tonys "which style?" rerub)

my attempt at the remix of Aint no stoppin us... aint nothin spectacular.. (and a bit of a mess.. )

the reason for the title "which style?" is cos the rmx goes through various styles... an (attempted) breakbeat part, 4/4, mellow etc...

have a listen, and lemme know what ya reckon!

Love the 4/4 part around :30. When the 2nd b-line comes in around 1:00, it gets way to crowded in the low end. Yeah, it's a little crazy in terms of form. I would suggest developing the first 4/4 part, twisting the b-line, adding some chords, etc., rather than completely changing everything, as that part really had a vibe. You should use the half time break around 5:00 with the original 4/4. Then you've got two NIIIIICE sections, which is plenty for a mix. The efx on the sung part vs. the overall unprocessed MC-ing is a little weird.

and yes, your current chords are out of tune.

With the other comp, in my opinion, the best mix won. Most, if not all, of the people who come to the Audio Patio forum are very supportive of just about EVERYONE who posts their tunes. So, we're all kind of in it together, and I don't at all think people voted for who they were tightest with.

So, do your best mix, and let the chips fall.

The voting is usually a mix of Staff + public opinion.

Last time, it was me, JJ, and DC judging + a voting poll that counted as 1 voice in the matter. Chances are this time it'll be the same.
