Default Advice about getting a tune released

Ok this is kinda off topic, but I have a tune mastered and ready to go, what is the best way of trying to get it released i.e

a)Trying to find a distributer

b)Sending it to labels

Any help would be appreciated as I know nothing about how this stuff works!

Try finding information about labels by either looking on vinyls and contacting them thru numbers on there or going into a record shop and speaking to them, particularly places that have established producers working in them. Also try phoning companies like Essential and Millenium concerning a distribution deal, they may take on your stuff.

This is the hard part so good luck!

Whatever you do, the more places you send it to, the better deal you will get. Also, try to get some type of relationship going with people even if they don't pick up your tracks.
