Default A new 4x4 beat by myself

Havent produced anything for about... 4 months now, haven't really been feeling the sound or the old sound I was producing, so taken time out and this is the 1st thing i've come up with!

http://members.aol.com/synced20/desire.ram

Will get some vocals on this, been working on it in dribs and drabs this afternoon... so its pretty lame at the moment!

Any feedback? Positive comments on how I can improove, any IDEAS anyone!!

cheers!

PS. Haven't been on this forum in time so will be checking out other peoples productions and giving some advice (if i can haha!)

like the beat...nice and simple, but crisp.

Not fond of the instruments used for the chords...the notes are fine...it's just the patch you chose I guess.

bass has a nice olskool feel to it.

Interesting vocal...might need a bit of pitching up...just a few cents. I actually really like the way you've used the vocal...especially the part that only comes in every now and then.

breakdown needs some work, but I'm sure you knew that already
