It's certainly got an old skool vibe, i wouldnt really call it garage. It's kinda bordering garage, in a way like a lot of the So Solid/ Oxide & Neutrino stuff- it aint ya run of the mill stuff.
I think u should produce some nu-skool stuff rather than trying to get the old skool style to fit into garage. I think on that tune the beat aint quite right for a garage tune, i cant describe it (im not a producer myself, dont know the lingo) but it sounds a bit odd.
Well, that's my humble opinion, let's see what everyone else says. Maybe if u added a more soulful jazzy sound to it it might sound more garage-y? Dunno lol |
