 After premiering their brand new single, “This Ain’t a Scene, It’s an Arms Race,” at the American Music Awards last week, multi-platinum, two-time MTV VMA award-winning Mercury Music group artists Fall Out Boy announce their first UK live shows of 2007 – scheduled to begin on January 27th. The low key warm up shows are a teaser as to what fans can expect from the full UK tour early Spring.

Their new single “This Ain’t a Scene, It’s an Arms Race” is the first single from Infinity On High, the long-awaited new album, which will be out on the February 5th. Rapper Jay-Z features on the albums opening track, ‘Car Crash’.
Infinity On High is the follow-up to From Under The Cork Tree, Fall Out Boy’s Mercury debut, which has sold more than 3 million copies worldwide since its release in May 2005. The new album reunites the group with Neal Avron, who produced, recorded and mixed Cork Tree. The new album also finds Fall Out Boy working with megastar hitmaking R&B producer Babyface for the first time.

I suppose I would just thank them for being interested in our band. No punishments.
