Montreal's The Stills release a new single, the classic pop of ‘Changes Are No Good', through 679 Recordings on 26th April 2004. This is the follow up to their top 40 hit 'Lola Stars and Stripes', both singles are taken from the bands critically acclaimed debut album 'Logic Will Break Your Heart' released in February.
The band will be heading out on the road for a co-headline tour with US rockers the Shins, followed by four headline dates.
The band has just been confirmed as support for The Strokes on their US tour. The Stills have been kicking up a storm in the US; they recently sold out two nights in LA and sold out most of their US tour as well as shifting nearly 40,000 albums.
Having played music together in various bands since the age of 12, and now in their early twenties, The Stills (singer Tim Fletcher, drummer Dave Hamelin, guitarist Greg Paquet and bassist Oliver Crow) seem almost capable of communicating with each other telepathically.
UK dates are as follows:
April
18th Leeds Cockpit 19th Manchester Uni 20th Glasgow King Tuts 21st Nottingham Rescue Rooms 23rd Brighton Concorde 2 24th London Shepherds Bush Empire
All above dates are co headline with the Shins
April (main headliners)
25th Oxford Zodiac 26th Liverpool Academy 27th Birmingham Academy
