 The Ordinary Boys follow the release of their acclaimed debut single, 'Maybe Someday' with a new single 'Week In, Week Out' on April 5th.
The band, who have been touted throughout the media as one of the most exciting new UK bands of 2004, started the year in fine style with a sold out headline tour, an appearance at the NME Awards shows and an ever growing army of devotees. The band also go back on the road for extensive UK dates in support of the single, joining a special NME bill following their own headline shows.
The Ordinary Boys are fast asserting themselves at the forefront of the renaissance of British pop music. A direct response to the destruction of British counter-culture through celebrity obsession and karaoke competition winners masquerading as ‘pop stars' the band have thrilled audiences and critics alike.
'Week In, Week Out' maintains their side sweep at the current state of the UK begun with 'Maybe Someday', showing up the lottery culture and celebrity worship of supermarket magazines for the hollow alternative to living that it really is.
The Ordinary Boys have now finished work on their debut LP with producer Stephen Street, due for release in the summer.
