Lovetouch Valentine Party Review
Venue: Silks & Spice, London
Saturday 3rd February saw the third healthy installment of Party Freak and Dynamix PR’s Lovetouch. After what felt like a lifetime, the monthly night made its mark in the classy city nightspot Silks and Spice for its Valentines Champagne Party.
Formally the regular night of Loop in Croydon, this was defiantly Lovetouch’s most successful night in its new home. It seemed obvious that a good mixture of clever promotion and some good old word of mouth, was responsible for an extremely long queue squashed with guys and girls, dressed with extremely serious raving faces.
DJs on the night playing the best in rnb, hip hop and party classics included Da Ill Kidz, Big Fella and Too Live Ents. Lovetouch residents Ace and Vis, got the crowd hyped with the sounds their rnb and hip hop set. While DJ Hotstepper showed us funky house is the biggest sound for urban club nights, when the crowd went wild for the infectiously good vibes it brings.
A packed club, an empty bar (well for rose anyway) and dancers still gracing the floor at 4am, were evidently signs of a great night.
