Big Bro Taking Over The Show Umm Yeah Right Print E-mail
Friday, 02 March 2007

Facebook!
Introducing Great Britain’s 2007 Eurovision hopefuls…wait for it…Big Brovaz! What no cheers? Yes that’s right folks, Big Brovaz are back and entering the race to become the UK’s Eurovision hopefuls.

In a recent TV interview informing the not so eager public on this year’s bunch of Eurovision hopefuls, Randy said “The competition was designed for us but we didn’t see it” what kind of an illiterate sentence is that huh? I think the fee for doing the show may have beckoned? Come on Big Brovaz, if you’re looking for any kind of credibility at all, this is not the way to go about it.

Big Brovaz join ex E17 member, and well quite unlucky dude Brian Harvey who is moving into first gear, ex pop group Scooch, now launching another assault on the nation, ex Atomic Kitten erm singer Liz McLarnon, Hawkins and Brown e.g. Justin from the darkness and some yat and finally Cyndi, who? Nuff said! Let’s be frank right? Last years hopeful was Daz Sampson, remember that guy rapping about teenage life? Nah, sorry you probably don’t! Well any way that’s my point.

Eurovision equals a yearly visual helping of stinky cheese. I mean really and truly, who in recent years has actually made a successful career off the back of Eurovision, Javine, I think not, with her ‘Touch My’ erm ‘Nonsense’?

It’s sad to see a group that could potentially be successful sounding a bit more raw and ‘urban’, rather than coming all commercial and cheesy and entering waste shows lie Eurovision, although I’m quite a fan, for entertainment purposes obviously. Let’s just hope that you don’t get past the initial audition show, to get up on the real stage and look like a bunch of puppets.

Monique wallace you muthalovin took the words out of my mouth! I disagree with one thing though they ain't got no 'credible' future. They only have a cheesy one so they might as well enter the contest!

it's attitudes like this that is gonna keep the urban industry down- as soon as anyone gets an oppurtunity, the urban and underground community don't support an artist. It's like people want to see them fail. Yeah, so you may not like Big Brovaz music, fair enough, I'm not a huge fan either. But the point is they are an urban act who have had a lot of commercial success, and them putting themselves forward for Eurovision is creating awareness to a different type of music than what's typically mainstream.
You say you think that they should sound more 'urban and raw'- your the biggest wastegirl ever! that comment does not make any sense! since when have big brovaz been raw! they came from a poppy background, that's their music. and whether you like it or not they're opening doors for other artists to come through. get rid of your stuck up backwards attitude to the music game.
I can't believe your a journalist- I'm disgusted in your attitude- it's so small minded!
