Ministry of Sound’s recently refurbished VIP lounge held host to a glamorous night of partying last Friday, courtesy of Kala-Kala, an exciting new enterprise specialising in events, promotions and general club consultancy for the music and entertainment industry. The face behind Kala-Kala is Michaela Alexander, who worked at the world famous club for five years, going from receptionist to manager in two. Being greeted with the infamous Kala Special on arrival (a lethal mix of Champagne and Chambord with a raspberry garnish), we were then treated to free massages from the lovely Ibiza Angels, before partying the night away to a mix of hot club classics and new joints from DJ Masterstepz. There were also abundant supplies of doughnuts going round, not to mention the free champagne, which was flowing all night.
