Everyone's favourite MySpace friends the Arctic Monkeys have announced they will be releasing a new single on July 9th. Todos os amigos MySpace preferido do Arctic Monkeys anunciaram que irão estar soltando um novo single em 9 de julho.

The band are lined up to play Glastonbury and T-In-The-Park as well dates in Dublin, Manchester and Cardiff over the summer. A banda se alinharam para jogar Glastonbury e T-In-A-Park bem como datas em Dublin, Manchester e Cardiff durante o verão.

'Fluorescent Adolescent' is the second single to be taken from their second album 'Favourite Worst Nightmare' . «Fluorescent Adolescent" é o segundo único a ter a partir de seu segundo álbum "Favorite Worst Nightmare".

The accompanying video is directed by Richard Ayoade (of The IT Crowd/Nathan Barley fame) and stars Stephen Graham (of Snatch/Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels) alongside a rather scary bunch of clowns. O vídeo acompanha Ayoade é dirigida por Richard (de The IT Crowd / Nathan Barley fama) estrelas e Stephen Graham (de Snatch / Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barris) junto com um pouco assustador bando de palhaços.
