 Influenced by life and growing up in urban Britain, the famous yet up and coming rapper Fredi Kruger was able to take a few moments of his time to answer our questions. The ex bodyguard has graced the UK music scene with his rap/raggae style music and has worked with many A-list celebrities including Mary J Blige and Busta Rymes. De ex-lijfwacht siert de Britse muziek-scene met zijn rap / raggae stijl van muziek en heeft gewerkt met vele A-list celebrities waaronder Mary J Blige en Busta Rymes. Starting at the age of 14, the rapper was keen to promote his music through various performances in many of the UK’s underground clubs and his charisma and charm had allowed his ability and profile to grow, especially within the music industry. Vanaf de leeftijd van 14 heeft de rapper was erop gebrand om zijn muziek via diverse optredens in vele van de Britse underground clubs en zijn charisma en charme had toegestaan dat hij in staat om te groeien en het profiel, met name binnen de muziekindustrie. Whilst perusing his music career, Fredi Kruger still finds the time to challenge his acting abilities having appeared in a small film. This action had triggered the spark he needed in order to reveal his music to its full content and was graced with a UK Hip Hop award for best newcomer in 2002 followed by a best video award shortly after. What made you want to start rapping? Wat maakte u wilt beginnen met rappende?
I love all forms of music but found Rap to be the best way to express my inner feelings to the masses at one time. Ik hou van alle vormen van muziek, maar bleken Rap als de beste manier om mijn innerlijke gevoelens voor de massa's tegelijk worden gebruikt. I also enjoy the unity it brings, especially when the lyrical content is real.....as they say, real recognising real!! Ik ben ook genieten van de eenheid tot stand brengt, vooral wanneer de lyrische inhoud is echt ..... zoals ze zeggen, echte erkenning echte!
Who have you enjoyed working with most? Wie heb je genoten hebt van het werken met de meeste?
I loved working with many artists. Ik hield van het werken met vele kunstenaars. From the UK, I enjoyed working with Juxi Demus, Don p, PDC, D21 just to name a couple and from the US, Wu Tang, DMX, Gravy....I also enjoyed Body guarding for Artists such as 50cent, Jodeci, Pharell, Genuine and the late great Biggie when he was with us. Vanuit de UK, ik genoten van het werken met Juxi Demus, Don p, PDC, D21 alleen maar een paar te noemen en vanuit de VS, Wu Tang, DMX, Gravy .... Ik heb ook genoten van Body bewakingspersoneel voor Kunstenaars als 50cent, Jodeci, Pharell, waargebeurde en de late great Biggie toen hij bij ons was. I have worked with a great deal of others though.....to many to mention! Ik heb gewerkt met veel anderen al ..... te veel om op te noemen!
How did it feel working with the likes of Mary J Blige and Busta Rymes? Hoe heeft hij het gevoel werken met namen als Mary J Blige en Busta Rymes?
I don’t really do the Star struck thing but working with any talented Artist is a blessing. Ik ben het niet echt de Star opviel ding, maar het werken met elke getalenteerde artiest is een zegen. Working with Busta and MJB was more security based may I add. Werken met Busta en MJB is meer zekerheid gebaseerd, kan ik aan toevoegen. I heard you starred in a small film. Ik hoorde je met ster in een kleine film. Would you ever consider exchanging your music career for a film career? Zou je ooit overwegen het uitwisselen van uw muziek carrière voor een film carrière?
I wouldn’t exchange it but will defiantly be venturing into that territory. Ik zou niet ruilen, maar zal uitdagend zijn venturing in dat gebied. I’ve just finished the script for my own movie which goes into production in September. Ik heb net klaar met het script voor mijn eigen film die verder gaat in productie in september. I heard you had a massive birthday party. Ik hoorde dat je moest een massale verjaardagsfeestje. How did that go? Hoe is dat gegaan?
The party was off the chain and I’ve just picked up the snaps to prove it!! Het feest was uit de keten en ik heb zojuist nam de snaps om het te bewijzen! It was a great turn out and no trouble may I add. Het was een grote beurt en zonder moeite kan ik aan toevoegen. 600 people and not one pair of trainers. 600 mensen, en niet een paar sportschoenen. Lady ratio...5-1.....you can work the rest out!! Lady ratio ... 5.1 ..... je kunt werken de rest uit! Ha Ha! Ha Ha!
