  Originating from the depths of South London, Kontagious are yet another clique of talented MC's trying to mark their essence in the scene. Afkomstig uit de diepten van Zuid-Londen, Kontagious vormen nog een andere kliek van getalenteerde MC's proberen te markeren hun essentie in de scène. We talk to Koray, a member of the group, to catch up with their current status. Wij praten met Koray, een lid van de groep, zijn achterstand in te halen met hun huidige status.
The group brings a Mediterranean culture of sounds and originality to the scene and their video ‘right now' is currently rotating on Channel U. " We loved filming it " says Koray. "The video is crazy. It was over two days long and in various different locations including one day being in the studio and the other in a park in Orpington" . De groep brengt een mediterrane cultuur van geluiden en de originaliteit van de scène en hun video 'recht nu' is op dit moment draaiend op Channel U. "We hield het filmen", zegt Koray. The gang aren't doing so badly considering that they have just left their record label and have already started work on their new mix-tape/EP. Specialising in grime and hip-hop, this group has got both a serious amount of talent and experience in their hands, having already ripped the raves with their lyrical blasphemy. "The best moment has got to be when we performed at the Choice FM Junior Jam at Hammersmith Palais, simply because it was so rammed and the youths had so much energy that it just made the atmosphere electric". Gespecialiseerd in grime en hip-hop, deze groep heeft zowel een serieus bedrag van talent en ervaring in hun handen, met al rukte de raven met hun lyrische godslastering. "Het beste moment heeft te zijn als we de computers op Junior Choice FM Blokkade bij Hammersmith Palais, simpelweg omdat het was zo geramd en de jongelingen had zoveel energie dat hij zojuist de atmosfeer elektrisch ".
The unifying bond of the crew is very obligated and with a very big team behind them, it is easy to see why Kontagious has made it this far. De eenmaking van obligaties van de bemanning is zeer verplicht en met een heel groot team achter zich, het is makkelijk te zien waarom Kontagious is het zo ver. It isn't only the English fans who are showing support. Het is niet alleen de fans die Engels worden weergegeven ondersteuning. The Turkish community has been going crazy about this lot. "The Turkish community has been very supportive towards us and the whole Kontagious movement. They are always checking our progress and are writing about us in the local Turkish news. Since the release of the video, the amount of e-mails reaching the myspace is incredible". I ask Koray about his relationship with his fellow band members. "We've all known each other for a long anyway. Lev-G and I are first cousins so we're tied by blood. K-Rhyme and I grew up together and I met Arkz a few years back in college". De Turkse gemeenschap is er gek op dit perceel. "De Turkse gemeenschap is heel positief tegenover ons en de hele Kontagious verkeer. Ze zijn altijd het controleren van onze vooruitgang en schrijft over ons in de lokale Turkse nieuws. Sinds de release van de video De hoeveelheid e-mails bereiken van de myspace is ongelooflijk ". Koray ik vragen over zijn relatie met zijn collega-bandleden." We hebben allemaal kennen elkaar voor een lange toch. Lev-G en ik zijn eerste neven, zodat we ' bent gebonden door bloed. K-Rhyme en ik ben opgegroeid en ik elkaar ontmoet Arkz een paar jaar terug in de school ".
The group has already collaborated with the likes of Nutsie, Narcotic, Size, MSG, Wayde and Skolar with more collaborations still on its way. "We are also working on a new tune called ‘torn apart' which features an up and coming female vocalist named ‘Funda". The guys have certainly taken a huge leap in comparison to the ordinary small steps the Turkish community usually takes in grime. De groep heeft al samengewerkt met namen als Nutsie, verdovende, Grootte, MSG, Wayde en Skolar met meer samenwerkingen die nog op zijn weg. "We werken ook aan een nieuwe tune genaamd 'uit elkaar gescheurd', die beschikt over een up and coming vrouwelijke vocalist de aanduiding "Funda". De jongens hebben zeker een enorme sprong voorwaarts in vergelijking met de gewone kleine stappen die de Turkse gemeenschap neemt meestal in roet. Kontagious is one of the most organised and professional teams out there. Kontagious is een van de meest georganiseerde en professionele teams die er zijn. With a high, constant demand for their music and talks of the release of another video, the group has already peddle-stooled themselves in the game and are stronger now than ever dismissing any rumours of the band splitting. "No it's not true. To be honest it's all a bunch of rubbish although we all have our plans to do solo projects but the crew will still stay together". The band has already received so much attention, especially from the likes of female fans and is currently dominating the scene in its entirety. Met een hoge, constante vraag naar hun muziek en gesprekken van de introductie van een andere video, de groep heeft al uitventen-stooled zelf in het spel en zijn nu sterker dan ooit het ontslag van alle geruchten van de band splitsing. "Nee het is niet waar. Om Eerlijk gezegd is het allemaal een boel onzin maar we hebben allemaal onze plannen te doen solo projecten, maar de bemanning nog steeds blijven bij elkaar. "De band heeft al zoveel aandacht, vooral vanuit de wil van vrouwelijke fans en is momenteel domineert de scène in zijn geheel. Why may you ask? Waarom mag u vragen? Well after all, music is Kontagious. Nou na al dat muziek Kontagious.
